This is a rare Estoril Blue ///M3 Convertible with leather Dove Grey Interior. It is in really great condition and drives great. It comes with a matching Hard Top and Cradle.

The car comes with a set of Electric / Heated Dove Grey Vader seats.  They are in great condition without any tears or rips. As mentioned, the car also comes with a BMW OEM Wind Deflector and BMW OEM Hard Top with the Cradle / Stand. The Hard Top was a $4000 option back in the day.

There is also a rare BMW M3 Front Splitter available, which has not been installed on the car yet - it will be included with the sale. The car has the BMW M3 Light Weight wheels (Staggered) and being a 1998 model, it also has the added advantage of BMW's Safety Roll Bars behind the rear head rests that will pop out in case of a roll over. Earlier convertibles did not have this feature.

The car's body is very nice, with original paint. It has one or two light scratches on the rear of the driver's side (probably not visible in the pictures, but will mention it anyway).

It has an Aftermarket stereo system (Pioneer) installed that sounds great. The car came with a sub-woofer which was unfortunately blown, so I removed it. It still have the amp in the trunk though.

The convertible top was replaced a couple of years ago as the original owner literally never put the top up during his ownership.

The car has a Clean CarFax report with some service history listed as well as a Clean California title. The car practically just sits and hasn't been driven much at all in the last couple of years. The car will be smogged and registration brought up to date for the Buyer .

It is a very clean example of the classic E36 M3 and is a great summer car with the top down - even at night as you can just turn on the heated seats. Brakes and tires only have about 3000 miles on them and tires have plenty of thread left on them.

The car needs a couple of little things that we are fixing as part of the restoration project:

Driver's Door lock actuator - it works intermittently.

Recently, the front seat backs stopped reclining. This is a known issue with these seats and needs the cogs replaced in the motor.  We might be able to get these done before the car heads off to a new home.

The Headliner in the hard top should be replaced as it is old and getting loose.

- Brand New DINAN Koni Adjustable Shocks
- Brand New MEYLE HD Strut Mounts
- Brand New DINAN Front Strut Bar
- Missing Right Side Fog light
 
This car is also on it's way to becoming a Certified DINAN M3 Convertible and we have a brand new Cold Air Intake kit for the car ready to be installed.  It will either be installed by the time the car sells or it will come with the car.

It is getting more difficult to find these cars in this condition these days, and this is a rare to find colour being an Estoril Blue model.
